Service Description

Before & After School Program At Little Luminaries, our Before & After School Program provides a safe, structured, and engaging environment where children can begin and end their day with balance, creativity, and support. In the morning, children are welcomed into a calm and organized setting where they can ease into their day through quiet activities and social interaction before school. This helps children start their day feeling prepared and comfortable. In the afternoon, children are given time to unwind, connect with peers, and participate in a variety of enriching activities. Our program offers a balance of creativity, academic support, and play, helping children build confidence, independence, and positive routines. Children engage in ongoing art sessions, exploring painting, drawing, crafts, and design in a hands-on and enjoyable way. We also include daily outdoor play, allowing children to relax and recharge after school. To support learning, we provide structured time for reading and workbook practice, helping children strengthen literacy and math skills in a supportive environment. Additional enrichment opportunities include private music lessons (piano, violin, or ukulele), offering individualized instruction for children who wish to further develop their musical skills. After School Program Our After School Program is designed to provide a meaningful and enjoyable extension of the school day. Children are welcomed into a relaxed environment where they can transition comfortably from school into a structured yet flexible routine. Each afternoon includes a combination of creative activities, academic support, and social time. Children participate in art-based projects, engage in guided reading and workbook time, and enjoy outdoor play as part of their daily routine. Our approach supports both creativity and learning, allowing children to express themselves while also building important academic skills. With consistent routines and supportive guidance, children develop independence, responsibility, and confidence. At Little Luminaries, the afterschool experience is more than care it is a space where children can continue learning, exploring, and growing in a positive and engaging environment. School Pick-Up Children are safely escorted from their school and transported to our centre, where they are welcomed into their afterschool program.
